Arrange a blood test
We are able to offer a blood test service at both Madeley Surgery on a Tuesday morning and Baldwins Gate Surgery on a Wednesday morning. ( The latter thanks to the support of the Patients' Fund). Appointments must be pre-booked by contacting reception in the same way as making an appointment.
For patients taking warfarin we perform INR checks at the INR clinic held every Friday morning at Madeley. Blood tests on children can be carried out at Madeley but not at Baldwins Gate. There is a special childrens service for blood test available at the Central Pathology Lab.
If you are housebound we can arrange for a nurse to visit you to perform the test. If these services are not convenient then any patient may attend the Central Pathology lab without making a prior appointment. The lab is open 8am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday.
