Dispensary update - good news!

The government has announced in the House of Commons that the ‘arrangement’ for dispensing doctors will remain unchanged. We are very grateful for your support and the many letters that you wrote. Bill Cash alone received over 400 letters from you.

Nationally the Department of Health received tens of thousands of letters of which over 98% were concerning this issue. We are certain that you have influenced government policy.

The consequences of this decision are that dispensing patients – sadly not everyone – may continue to chose where they have their prescriptions dispensed, staff jobs have been safeguarded, and we hope to be able to proceed with plans to redevelop Baldwins Gate Surgery.
