Hoax/nuisance callers - a warning!

The Primary Care trust (PCT) has warned of hoax callers operating in North Staffordshire. The hoax callers have claimed to be from various sources including Doctor Surgeries, the Health Authority and NHS Direct. The nature of the calls have sometimes been distressing and made inferences to medical conditions.

If you experience such a call ring Staffordshire Police on 0300 123 4455 to report the incident.

The PCT are monitoring the situation and ask that patients also report details to their own practice.
