The NHS is supporting a new service called Be Part of Research – which makes it easier for people to find and take part in health research.
It is an online service that allows people to sign up to be contacted about research opportunities for health conditions you are interested in. For example, studies looking at new ways to treat diseases and improve patient care.
Lots of studies also need healthy volunteers too, so you can sign up and take part in research even if you don’t have a diagnosis of a disease or condition.
Text messages will soon be sent out to all of our patients over the age of 18 inviting you to sign up to be part of research.
