Madeley Practice Patients Fund incorporating Madeley Practice Patient Participation Group

Madeley Practice Patients Fund was Established in 1990 as a registered charity, number 1049612 . It provides support for patient care, with feedback on services and fund raising programmes to purchase equipment and/or services which otherwise wouldn’t be available.
Members meet at the Surgery on a Wednesday evening bi-monthly (January, March, May, July, September, November) 6.30 pm at Moss Lane Surgery. New members are welcome. For more information phone 750555 or 751195.

Madeley Practice Patients Fund has recently joined the Lyme Lottery. This is a weekly lottery run by Newcastle Borough Council which costs £1.00 per line per week — 50p of which goes to the Patients Fund when that charity is nominated. More details can be found on or by telephone on 01782 479777 or call in at the Civic Offices. Remember to quote MADELEY PRACTICE PATIENTS FUND.

The Madeley Practice Patient Participation Group (MPPPG) met for the first time in July 2015. Since last year the two groups (Madeley Practice Patients Fund and Madeley Practice Patient Participation Group) now meet as one group. New members welcome — simply check the date of the next meeting with Reception and come along.

Madeley District Community Association

Volunteer drivers are available to offer lifts to people who are unable to get to doctors, hospital and any medical appointments. These are available to people living in the local rural area and a small cost is involved to cover driver expenses.

Rural Runaround

A Community Bus is available to hire by local rural Charities or Community Groups. A small cost is involved and the driver must be willing to take a short assessment prior to using the bus.
